Harry Burton is the owner of Apple Luscious Organic Orchard on Salt Spring Island.

He is dedicated to growing healthy apple trees organically, without spray of any kind. His love of red fleshed apples has grown into an orchard of hundreds of trees. Harry’s orchard is a learning tool open to the public and he is delighted to share his knowledge with our garden club.

In this presentation he discussed the why and how of scion grafting of apple trees, including a whip/tongue grafting demonstration.
